The Ruth Lee Rescue Manikin has been carefully designed to both sink and have realistic buoyancy while floating. It accurately simulates the feel an “unconscious” person providing a real-life experience for the lifeguards in training. The impressive design greatly improves performance, reduces the need for training volunteers, and offers a true-to-life challenge.


Characteristics

• Available adult (30 kg dry weight – 1.6 m height) and junior (16 kg dry weight – 1.1 m height) sizes
•    Constructed with reinforced Nylon mesh which lets the water to filter in, allowing the manikin to sink when placed in water
•    Mesh allows for ventilation and rapid draining when the manikin is removed from the water
•    Flexible arms reinforced with strong webbing allow the arms to be raised, letting the lifeguards practise hauling the “victim” from the water using correct lifting techniques
•    The adult manikin is supplied with a mesh sheet which is recommended for storing and transporting the manikin
•    Detailed care instructions are provided with the manikin
