Student-Athlete Support
Since our inception, we have placed great importance on the development of aquatic sports. We proudly support aquatic federations, various organizations, and sporting events. Since 2015, in partnership with the Aléo Foundation and Laval University's Rouge et Or program, Aquam has been involved in a scholarship program that supports student-athletes. We are proud to support these three rising stars:
Loïc Courville-Fortin
Discipline: Swimming
City: Repentigny, Quebec
Age: 21

In the water since his early months of life, he began competing at the age of 7. Loïc won his first national title in the 50 backstroke at the 2022 Trials. He is recognized as an Excellence athlete by the Fédération de natation du Québec and is part of Swimming Canada's development team. A student in health-focused natural sciences at Cégep Ahuntsic, he aspires to pursue further studies in sports medicine.

Aquam is proud to support him in his journey since 2023.
Audrey Lamothe
Discipline: Artistic Swimming
City: Montreal, Quebec
Age: 19

Audrey started practicing artistic swimming at the age of 5 and began competing at the age of eight. A true enthusiast, she loves that her sport combines her favorite activities: swimming, dance, and diving. Accumulating successes, she finished fourth in the free routine and sixth in the technical routine of the women's solo at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships. Recently taking fifth place in the free duet at the World Championships in Doha with her partner Jaqueline Simoneau, we will be closely following their potential path to Paris 2024!

Aquam is proud to support her in her journey since 2024.
Danika Éthier
Discipline: Swimming
City: Quebec City, Quebec
Age: 19

Since leaving her hometown of Kapuskasing in northern Ontario, Danika Éthier has continued to achieve impressive results. The accomplishments of the swimmer, who now represents the Rouge et Or of Laval University, speak volumes, as do the honors she has earned so far. In her first year on the university circuit, the sociology student showcased her great talent. Although her 2023-2024 season has been hampered by some injuries, a gradual return will allow her to compete at the Canadian Trials in good shape and maintain her progression goals.

Aquam is proud to support her in her journey since 2023.
